I live in China.
The government of China launched a big project called ‘the Golden Shield Works’-we Chinese call it the Great Firewall(GFW).The apparent goal of the GFW is to filter the porno websites and the reactionary websites. But actually it created the world’s largest Local Area Network.
For example,all the Chinese cannot have access to wikipedia.com, blogger.com, wordpress.com.
Luckily,these sites are not necessary for all the Internet surfer in China.But some other sites’ being filtered caused the anger of many Chinese.
In the last 6 months,many Chinese sometimes found that Google.com cannot be accessed,the MSN Messenger and the Hotmail email system always have problem when login.This badly disdurbed many Chinese’s normal life.
I don’t want to comment anything about the GFW,because any comments about the GFW will related to politics and the Communist party of China.I only want to say:it’s stupid.

Because wordpress.com is filtered by the GFW,I have to write the post through mathtunnel.com.So many inconvenience are caused by the GFW!
