长尾成就了Google，成就了Ebay，更让街头上人手一部iPod。长尾实实在在的冲击了很多传统行业，并且仍然在扩张中……
最近在读庄大推荐的”Getting Real”这本书，便把自己参与过的产品”Getting Real”了一下。
酒店预订，用户的需求就是预定到最符合自身需要的酒店。网络预定，目前最N的就是Sidestep、Kayak，国内当然是Ctrip啦，现在来看看，虽然都是几年前的产品了，确是非常典型的长尾产品。
世界级的酒店集团占据了大部分市场，强大的资本，统一的风格，全球化营销，很容易让房客产生名牌情节。于是，大集团越来越大，小酒店的归宿就变成了被收购。互联网来了，把小酒店们都放在了网上，宣传成本几乎为零，而现在全世界人民都是潜在房客了，家庭酒店、主题酒店以及各种各样的个性化酒店也越来越多，人们的选择不再是千篇一律的Marriott或者Hilton了。当然，这点还不够，地段、星级、价格区间、Packages，智能选择器使用户可以立刻预定到自己满意的酒店，于是，长尾使北美地区酒店网络订单超过总订单的60%，而订单的抽成则又成就了一批市值过亿的大公司。
长尾果然无处不在！Long live the long tail！

Bald - Poly modeling practice

大学的时候练习Poly建模做的，工作以后发现除了做 logo 以外很少能碰 3D 了……

不想就这么放下，每次翻CGWorld都会有手痒的感觉，为了止痒，已经装好了 MAX9.0，准备慢慢出几个完整的东西。

手头上又多了一个项目，另外在写一篇关于解决 PNG web 透明问题的教程，还有就是远景的重构，呼…… 开始忙咯！

Digg 上挖到的，看了以后颇有感触，想起自己高中时期用 FrontPage 98 做的只有一页的网站，还用了各种好看的字体，放了个大大的计数器……

后来在别处上网看到网页惨不忍睹的样子，才知道了原来字体只能是在本地显示的啊…… -_-!

不用JS的浮动层~

IE6,IE7,Firefox测试通过。

其实主要是使用position:fixed属性，但是IE6不支持fixed，所以代码主要是实现IE6下的浮动效果。

原理是先将<html>设置为与当前浏览器等高并不延伸，也就等于是所有内容都在一个固定高的<html>内显示(效果相当于浏览窗口内再嵌套一个小窗口)，所以现在我们看到的滑动条就不是浏览器的了，而是<body>的，再将#targetTop相对于<html>定位，就会保持在右下角的位置了。

Google Australia is celebrating Australia Day 2007 by photographing Sydney Harbour from the air, and we want to make sure as many of us as possible squeeze into the picture.

Google Earth 将在1月26日 Australia Day 航拍悉尼海岸.Google已经给出了详细的范围和飞机飞过的准确时间。

真是羡慕死了在澳洲的家伙们，能看到自己在google earth上了…… 估计当天整个大洋洲的人都会往西海岸聚集吧…… 场面一定很壮观……

什么时候拍北京啊…… T T
