Kijo Park (亀城)

Kijo is the ruins of ancient Tsuchiura castle, there only several gates standing there, the board says this ruined castle.

I went Tsuchiura by train. In the morning, I went to the kandatsu eki / station by bike, but there is no mark to park the bike, and there is a room parking bikes with charges, I had to park my bike in front the a little shop. There is no need to worry about bike-losing.

Going Tsuchiura with a round trip cost 380JPY, but it is only 6 minutes route from Kandatsu to Tsuchiura.

Day 6: Thursday, June 4

I submitted 5 jobs to compute in the weekend, since this weekend has three days.

I had been better than the day before, but the voice was not normal, and nose was blocked.

Day 5: Wednesday, June 3

I had a cold. I almost drank 5000ml water in the work time.

I was not lost today because I came home along the main road.

Day 4 in Japan

Day 4: Tuesday, June 2

Besides the normal work, I began to contact the other people. Although I am not familiar with their Japanese accent English, they are very pleased to talk. In general, because of work time, we talk only for about ten minutes before or after the real work.

When I going home after work at 7:00, I lost. I costed two hours to get home, but it should be thirty minutes normally, since it was starting to dark and the road is very the similar which I cannot discern the road going work that is a mini fast path.

Day 3: My First Workday in Japan

Day 3: Monday, June 1

It was my third day in Japan, Monday, June 1st. I went to Hitachi Tsuchiura works by bike along the fast lane. It seems all the same style of the road without discernible marks, being narrow.

Mr Liu introduced the research group members and me, but I was not familiar with Japanese name, because it seems written as Chinese, but the pronunciation is not. It was embarrassing I cannot remember them all at once.

After the noon break, I made a self-introduction in the office. After a while, one introduced some aspects in environment protection, since this month’s theme is natural environment.

In the afternoon, I learned the work facilities, computers, operation systems — Saloris and AIX, CFD analysis codes — Star-CD, mesh-generating software — I-deas.
Although the time to get off work is 4:45 pm, they always go home between 6 to 7 o’clock. Even some people go off work in the midnight.
