DNSPod.com is returning to normal

DNSPod.com is returning to normal now. Because W2 Interactive did not give us any response till now, we cannot get the data that was on the servers of W2 back. Some of your personal information could not be got back now. We are very sorry for that. But the domains that you have added before and the histories are still in our database. Now you need to register to our website again in order to get your domains back, and then you can manage your account as usual. Sorry for the inconvenience we brought to you and thanks for your understanding and supporting for DNSPod.

Here are some steps that help you to get your domains back.

Step 1:

Click login to DNSPod, if you have registered to our website before, when you type your Email address and password and click LOGIN, you will find this page.

Just click OK. Then you will turn to the Register page.

Step 2,

When you registered successful, you come to the dashboard.

type your domain in the add domain box, you will see the next message.

click the link”click to get your data back”.then we go to step 3.

Step 3,

you will see the helping page here. Just follow the instructions.

Step 4,

when you click next, we will find your Email address through your whois information and send Email to you in order to make sure that you are the legal owner of the domain. If you used the protection of privacy, we may not get your information, so that you need to contact us.

Announcement of our website failure

We are sorry for the inconvenience we brought to you. Because of the server failure of the W2 Interactive, our website is temporarily unavaliable. The failure will not affect the DNS resolution.

The problem was happened at yesterday evening. The servers which we leased from W2 Interactive were suddenly unreachable. We do not even know why they did this. We get contact with almost every department of the W2 Interactive and asked for the reason but no one gave us response.

We are now still trying to communicate with the W2 Interactive and hope them to solve this problem for us as soon as possible. We are also finding other server providers to transmit our data and resuming our website as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding！

继续代理申请: 点击提交申请后到下面的页面，选择无预付类型，再点击提交申请即可.

等销售审核通过了就可以正式做我们的代理了.

接到我们IDC服务商通知，需要在一周内进行两次线路切割维护。

第一次，2011-2-23本周三凌晨零点至6点进行升级维护，不会对大家的解析造成影响。

第二次，2011-2-28 周一晚23点 – 2011-3-1日周二上午十点半。本次升级期间会造成我们官网DNSPod.cn打不开，但是不会影响用户的解析。

如果有需要在此时段修改记录的用户请及时的提前修改。

DNSPod首度支持按照大洲划分区域！上线新增SRV记录类型！

好消息！DNSPod的解析可以按照大洲划分区域了！！

大家知道，DNSPod一直以来都是以智能解析而闻名遐迩，更是最先推出了按地区（省份）划分的解析办法，大大的提高了大家的解析访问速度。

就是在今天下午，2011年的2月15号，DNSPod终于将DNS解析做到了可以按照大洲划分！

多么令人振奋的消息！这将是一个历史性的突破，更是国内DNS解析商的里程碑式的成就！

注：目前此功能仅限于企业III套餐的用户使用。

另外，现在DNSPod又为大家新上线了SRV解析记录！

SRV记录是DNS中的服务记录，用于返回服务位置的信息，包括服务的主机的端口等。通常 XMPP, Microsoft AD 等都会用到。

一条SRV记录包括以下的信息：

主机记录部分：

_服务名称._协议类型.主机名
