细数南宁传统美食

如果说有什么可以激起南宁人最大的欲望的，我看美食莫属。在南宁人心目中，吃，有着无可动摇的绝对地位，“为吃”是南宁人最形象的形容。有这样的“为吃”传统，多少年来，南宁人发明创造出许许多多风格独特，令人垂涎的美食。细细数来，不怕勾起你的口水哦…

今天，我先跟大家讲第一期：

老友粉

南宁种类繁多的风味小吃，最具代表性的莫过于“南宁老友粉”了，光是名字就洋溢着一种浓浓的温情，仿佛吃过一碗粉，就可以体会到老友的关怀与照顾。“衣服新的好，而朋友则是老的好”。如果你是个念旧的人，如果你在孤独的时候总是想起多年相交的老友，那么不妨来一碗“老友粉”，在那份浓郁而特殊的香味中，怀念朋友。

传说，百年前有一老翁每天光顾周记茶馆，时间久了，老翁就和周记老板成了老朋友。有一天老翁因为感冒没有去，周记老板便以精制面条，佐以爆香的蒜末、豆豉、辣椒、酸笋、牛肉末、胡椒粉等，煮成一碗热面条，送给这位老友吃。老翁吃后出了一身汗，病状减轻，故“老友面”因此得名。后来又由此衍生出老友粉。老友粉食之开胃驱寒，而价格却十分便宜，因此深受食客欢迎而经久不衰，南宁市随处可见老友粉店，老友粉便成了南宁众所周知的一大招牌名吃。

由于老友粉里配有特制“酸笋”，因此口味独特，第一次品尝的客人可能有些吃不惯。如同北京人对豆汁的钟爱一样，第一次可能不习惯，但是细品之后，便可体会其中滋味。老友粉通常有两种吃法：一种是配以汤料连汤一起吃下。另一种则是南宁人比较喜欢的“干吃”法，将煮过的米粉用热油炒过。老友粉经过油的浸润更加爽口筋道，而酸笋的味道也更加浓郁。酸笋的酸，胡椒粉的辣，牛肉碎末的浓香，豆豉的厚重交织成了一道浓香四溢“老友粉”。可以作为正餐，亦可当作夜宵。但是肠胃不好，不能吃刺激性食物的朋友最好不要尝试。

南宁最有名的“老友粉”当属中山路的复记老友粉（总店），条件简陋，仅仅几个桌子，几条板凳而已，可是客人却排着大队去买，经常排到前面，老友粉已经卖完了，不免有几分遗憾，复记在东葛路开了分点，可是依然有很多客人还是去总店排队，于是复记在墙上挂出一个牌子，上面写：“相同的情怀，相同的味道”一方面答谢老客多年的支持,另一方面劝告食客不要在继续排队转去东葛路的分店去买。

南宁市人民公园

人民公园又称白龙公园，因园内有一约7万平方米的白龙湖而得名。据宋史《舆地纪胜》记载，宋代名将狄青将军曾率军队在此驻扎，某日看见湖边有一群白羊，好像一条游动的白龙，所以就给此湖起名白龙湖，可见白龙湖得名已有上千年的历史了。白龙公园靠近市中心，从朝阳广场步行10分钟左右即可到达。

公园大门正对面，是一座林木葱茏、端严秀整的山坡，这便是公园的主体——望仙坡，有一条高141级、宽10米的石阶直通山顶。曾传晋人罗秀曾在南宁西面的罗秀山上修行得道成仙，望仙坡因与罗秀山遥相对望而得名。望仙坡顶上原建有祭祀狄青、孙沔、余靖、苏缄、王阳明、莽依图等对南宁有功的历史名人的“六公祠”，后被旧桂系军阀陆荣廷1917年拆去，修建了一座炮台，这就是镇宁炮台。炮台用大青石砌成，为一座环形城堡，里面砌一高台，上面安置一尊德国克鲁伯工厂1890年制造的大炮。

望仙坡是南宁的最高处，登上炮台，南宁景色尽收眼底。望仙坡的南麓，就是白龙湖了。湖岸翠竹掩映，垂柳摇曳，湖的中心有一小岛，岛西面有九曲桥，岛北面有三孔月桥，把岛与湖岸相连起来。游人可在湖面泛舟，亦可在桥上喂鱼，乐趣无穷。在公园东北隅的山坡上，建有雄伟的革命烈士纪念碑，碑高25米，上刻“革命烈士永垂不朽”几个金色大字，周围是苍松翠柏，整个建筑庄严肃穆。白龙公园中心还有一座全区规模最大、数量最多、品种较全的荫生植物园，是集科学性、知识性、艺术性、趣味性于一体的亚热带观赏植物园。

Nanning is the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. As the name says, there are many Zhuang people live in this region, actually we have The largest number of Zhuang people in this region, though still a lot of people call Guangxi a “province”. You can see some details about Zhuang people which you may not pay attention to.
When you walk on streets of Nanning city, you usually can see the street sign on one side of the road. Here is a picture of the street sign in Nanning:

Well, the main big Chinese character in the middle is the Chinese street name, of course. And the character “南” means the South and the character “北” means the North, it tells the direction of the street. But what are those roman letters on the top and the bottom of the street sign?

The fact is the roman letter on the button is the Hanyu Pinyin of this street, the finall two letters “LU” means “Road” or “Street” in Chinese. And the roman letter on the top is the street name written in Zhuang language. Well actually I can’t read the Zhuang language, and I don’t think there are many people would like to use it, but it really a speciall detail of all the street signs in Nanning.

Nanning (simplified Chinese: 南宁; traditional Chinese: 南寧; pinyin: Nánníng, meaning ‘Peaceful South’) is the capital of Guangxi autonomous region in

southern China. It is known as the “Green City” because of its abundance of lush tropical foliage.

Nanning has a population of 7 million, and there are more than 2 million people live in urban area.

Nanning is the center of politics, economic, science and technology, education and culture in Guangxi, the same region that’s home to the Guilin and Yangshuo. More info: wikipedia

It’s green

Known as the “green city of China”, it is comfortable to live with a mild subtropical climate. You can see green plants and flowers all the year around, and you could find lots of palm trees lining the streets and parks.

Zhujin(朱槿 China rose) is selected to be the city flower. and the city tree is almond.

more than 40% of the city is covered in green plants, making it “half-garden and half-city”.
Best time to visit is Spring and Autumn. with 26°C average from April to June and September to November.

History

This town has a history of more than 1600 years. It was set up ever since Qin dynasty.
it was called 邕州 [Yong prefecture] in ancient times. That is why Nanning is called “Yong” for short.

as the process of urbanization expediting, many old buildings was rebuild or dismantled, giving it a new face of modern city. But you still can see some old buildings like sotto portico(骑楼) left deep imprints on this city’s history, quietly record the changes of the century.

Education

To be the center of education in Guangxi, Nanning collects many institution of higher learning.
Like the Guangxi University, Guangxi University for Nationalities, Guangxi Medical University etc.

Development

Local government try to make Nanning to be a regional international city, so we get closer to many ASEAN countries. for example, the bus to Hanoi from Nanning bus station departs every day.
